Supplier360 is a SaaS platform that helps companies in Latin America transition from manual, paper-intensive supplier management to a digital, centralised solution. Leveraging a vast commercial database, Supplier360 streamlines vendor onboarding, automates document collection, and provides real-time risk assessments. The platform ensures organisations maintain an accurate, up-to-date vendor master while reducing costly supply chain disruptions.
Many organisations relied on scattered spreadsheets, emails, and slow approvals to onboard new suppliers. This not only increased the risk of missing critical data but also created communication gaps among Procurement, Finance, and Compliance teams. The main challenge was designing a platform that could unify these processes, automate routine tasks, and proactively identify supplier risks before they escalated.
To map out existing workflows and user frustrations, I conducted interviews with key stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and Compliance. Through these discussions, it became apparent that manual processes were time-consuming and prone to error, while limited visibility often delayed identifying at-risk suppliers. Some guiding questions included:

Laura – Procurement Manager

Frustrations: Excessive manual data entry tasks, unclear multi-step approval process, and minimal system integration
Primary Goals: Quickly onboard reputable suppliers; negotiate cost-effective contracts and prices
Miguel – Finance Manager

Frustrations: Inconsistent financial data, delayed access to updated reports, and frequent auditing complexities
Primary Goals: Thoroughly assess supplier stability to minimize budgetary risks
Carla – Compliance Officer

Frustrations: Time-consuming manual checks, siloed communication channels, missing essential documents
Primary Goals: Enforce strict compliance with regulatory and ESG requirements
To better structure the design, I created a flowchart mapping out user pathways for each stage of the supplier onboarding process. This helped me spot potential bottlenecks, clarify dependencies among departments, and streamline the overall user experience. The flowchart served as a guiding framework, ensuring every step aligned with user roles and business objectives before moving on to high-fidelity design.

Supplier360 addresses these challenges through automated onboarding workflows and comprehensive risk evaluation tools:
